The Gold
18K Gold PVD
on 316L Stainless Steel · Titanium Bonded
Our gold is not dipped, and it is not plated in the ordinary sense. We start with a core of 316L surgical stainless steel, bond a titanium layer to it, then apply 18K gold through PVD — Physical Vapor Deposition.
PVD fuses the gold to the metal at the molecular level under intense heat and vacuum, rather than resting it on the surface like a traditional coat. The result is a finish measured in years, not weeks — one that holds its color through sweat, water, and daily wear.
